FHI Online -- great training now available at a computer near you.

In 2003, Kathi Williams and Terry Kitay decided to take their highly successful, in-person, fair housing seminars and adapt them to an interactive, on-line web setting. The result, FHI Online, makes quality fair housing education accessible, convenient, and economical.

Based on Kathi and Terry's legal expertise as practicing fair housing attorneys and trainers, FHI Online provides comprehensive instruction in a fun and easy-to-use on-line environment. Designed to be simple enough for computer novices, understandable by even new employees, in-depth enough for on-site management, and enjoyable by all, FHI Online is unlike any other on-line training. The first course, the Basics of Fair Housing, is made up of five lessons. Each lesson includes audio narration, text bullets, skits, a review, and on-going commentary from Terry and Kathi. At the end of the course, the participant takes an on-line Certification Exam. Upon successfully passing the exam, the participant is mailed a Certificate. Simple administration tools make it easy for employers to keep tabs on each participant and to monitor their progress throughout the course.

In the future, FHI Online will add more advanced fair housing courses so its users can increase their knowledge of the specific fair housing requirements that apply to their job duties.
